Our journey
Who We Are
Kub Konekt is a youth development hub dedicated to empowering teenagers and young adults to grow into confident, creative, and purpose-driven leaders. Established in 2013, we bridge the gap between traditional learning and real-world readiness by providing practical experiences that develop both character and competence.
Our work focuses on guiding young people through critical stages of adolescence, helping them build self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to think creatively and lead authentically. Through collaboration with parents, schools, organizations, and communities, we create supportive environments where young minds are encouraged to explore their potential and discover their unique leadership paths.
At Kub Konekt, coaching goes beyond conversation. We use hands-on, experiential learning, combining STEM, creative expression, mentoring, and real-life projects, to help young people transform ideas into action and potential into performance.
Mission
To empower teenagers and young adults with the skill to develop self awareness,
self confidence and focus to lead authentically. Providing hands on coaching
through real life projects, mentoring, talent discovery, and practical leadership
experiences, in collaboration with parents, schools, trainers, and communities.
Meet Our Founder
Emuobo Ochojila is passionate about guiding adolescents to discover their leadership potential. She believes that the Adolescent stage is a time to intentionally empower the young minds, so they thrive as the transition into becoming Confident Leaders.
As a certified Adolescent Coach and Project Management Professional with an educational background in Architecture, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to youth development.
She founded Kub Konekt, an organization through which she is committed to supporting young minds in discovering self and developing the skill to design pathways to leadership.
Through Kub Konekt, she leverages diverse platforms to design and deliver impactful leadership programs and projects. One of these was the STEM franchise, Young Engineers, which she acquired and operated in the FCT for six years.
Drawing on her experience in engaging young minds, and working on design driven projects, she now curates engaging and transformative programs and initiatives that guide young minds toward developing thriving, value-driven paths.
Having lived the experience of growth, setbacks, and resilience, she understands the importance of timely support during adolescence and is intentional about providing transformative coaching and mentorship for this stage.
She believes that success and failure are fundamentally anchored in self-leadership, and value driven leadership thrives with the right support—this belief inspired the creation of Kub Konekt.
